Keep people in the homes they already have.
A small repair that goes unfixed can become an expensive one, and for many households it decides whether they keep their home. We build tools that make maintenance knowledge easier to reach.
What gets in the way
- Households do not know whether a problem is urgent, simple or dangerous.
- Trusted, affordable help is hard to find, especially for underserved communities.
- Volunteer and staff time is limited, and every question takes a person to answer.
- Programs have little data on which repairs people struggle with most.
Existing buildings, real constraints
We do not start from a blank site. We start from the building as it is: older systems, partial records, mixed vendors, and people who are already stretched. Our tools are built to work with that.
What we can build with you
Plain-language diagnosis
Photo-based guidance that tells people what is likely wrong, how serious it is and what to do next.
Connections to trusted help
Matching households with vetted, community-minded contractors and resources in their area.
Program insight
Aggregate patterns on the repairs people ask about, to shape workshops, repair days and outreach.
Rooted in this work
Our founders came to this through real estate and years of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. FiXA exists because home-maintenance knowledge shapes who builds wealth and who loses it.
Where our products and past work fit
FiXA is already serving Philadelphia-area homeowners at heyfixa.com. We are glad to talk about partnerships, workshops and shared resource lists.
FiXA is our homeowner-facing product. We have also built an AI maintenance triage platform for an enterprise property-management client, and a repair-workshop platform with Habitat for Humanity. See what we have built.
